Spill cleanup mixture

For roadside (and other) spills we use a mixture of 'throw and go' and 'floor dry'. Each have their specific uses. To simplify things we carry one or more containers of our spill clean-up mixture on most apparatus. You'll find a barrel of each material at each station.
The mixture is effective at:
- absorbing oil and fuel spills
- reducing vapors
- improving traction
The mixtures is:
2 parts 'Throw and go' (dirt stuff) to 1 part 'floor dry' (white granules). Use the provided scoop to mix the correct ratio as needed to keep the containers on the apparatus full.
Note: In general, once we put the material on the roadside we do NOT clean it back up. That is beyond the scope of our practice.
